Who is responsible for the selection process?
The selection is carried out by the officially appointed team staff (team management and coaches), in coordination with the Head of Performance Sport and the Managing Director.
How does the selection process work?
1. Appointment of team staff
2. Creation of an athlete pool
3. Planning of the Road to the European Championships (training and measures)
4. Definition of the selection criteria and the selection timeline
5. Final selection of the athletes for the European Championships
How can I register as an athlete?
Athletes interested in participating can register via the official Swiss Surfing survey.
Where can I find information on the selection criteria?
The final selection criteria will be defined and communicated by Swiss Surfing once they have been developed.
How many athletes will be selected?
The number of selected athletes per category depends on the available quota places for the European Championships.
Where and when do I get further information?
Once the planning process is completed, Swiss Surfing will communicate the next steps.
